Welcome to my method of introducing solids to your infant called, Bio-logical Weaning - Plain + Slow = Gain + Grow, which teaches parent and health professionals how to deliver healthy solids to our infants from six months to two years of age.
This practice is based on the firm foundation of knowledge about an infant’s basic digestive biology development through each month, their nutritional requirements, the textures their enzymes have the capacity to break down, and their overall wellbeing. It is also inline with World Health Organisation Guidelines.
Bio-logical Weaning reduces, if not eliminates, the symptoms of Digestive Overload (aka reflux) and has the potential to decrease early obesity rates, fostering positive future focused outcomes for the holistic mental and physical health of our infants – inclusive of sleep!
Join me to learn about introducing solids in your child’s first two years of life with a method that covers all the bases – digestive balance, appropriate weight gain and appropriate food choices for each age and stage of digestive function, including nutritional variety that progresses your child through different textures while learning when to introduce and increase nutrients like iron, fats, calcium, sugar etc.
You will also have the opportunity to pick my brain with anything that you’d like to know, and listen to me answer other questions from other parents. So what are you waiting for? I’d love to advise you on how to make the best choices for your infant.Learn more

When we introduce and feed solids in a way that respectfully works alongside the child’s basic digestive biology we foster a relaxed disposition and support comfortable exploration of an infant’s food, body and environment. This workshop helps to put the latest research, fads, and recommendations into perspective, while providing a healthy, logical guide. This workshop can be booked as professional development for early childhood centres, or parenting groups. I sometimes tour with my workshops too, so feel free to sign up for my newsletters to keep up-to-date with my wanderings.Learn more
