This is a perfect course for educators that work with infants from six months to one year of age. With a focus on digestive health and fostering sleep, this workshop will enable you to confidently advise parents about providing solids to their infant as it provides the latest research on the ideal age to start solids, healthy food options and the ideal quantity of solids for each age and stage. You will also learn about purees, Baby Lead Weaning, how much variety is truly good for a child in the first six months of solid food along with how to make nutritious homemade solids. This workshop helps to put the latest research, fads, and recommendations into perspective, while providing a healthy, logical guide about solids from the age of six months to one year of age.
When we introduce and feed solids in a way that respectfully works alongside the child’s basic digestive biology we foster a relaxed disposition and support comfortable exploration of an infant’s food, body and environment.
