Hi there. Thanks for having a look around my website, and joining me on my worldwide, life mission to eliminate the distressing outcomes that colic and reflux form for our innocent young and their parents.
Early intervention through education is in my mind paramount for both the newborn’s and parents physical and mental health. Becoming a parent is one of the most important jobs in the world and yet currently, parents get a lot of training on pregnancy and labour, but very little on what to do when baby arrives. It is my heart driven goal to change this often detrimental lack for our young. For I believe that knowledge is liberating, understanding nurtures relationships, and informed choice creates confidence.Learn more
Creating calmer newborns and infants is partly what I live for. As is healing colic and reflux. Parents are widely taught that there is nothing you can do about colic, you just have to wait until babies digestive system matures, and if their child has reflux, they are often led down a pathway of harmful medication and concoctions. Now however, there is a different way. I have discovered the cause of colic and reflux – I label this 'Digestive Overload' – and I am now committed to eliminating these avoidable situations for families worldwide so that one day, hopefully soon, colic and reflux will be a distant memory and concern.Learn more
Child Development and Psychology is where I started my training and it was this that enabled me to work as a teacher in New Zealand Childcare Centres and become a manager of a crèche in England. Add to this my study of meditation while in India, my studies on mindfulness and experiences of using mindfulness and meditation within my own life to heal health problems, my passion to equip parents and offer professional development to early childhood teachers was born.Learn more
I have worked in the childcare arena since the early 1990's, and have been employed by royalty, dignitaries and celebrities, including Kate Winslet and Jim Threapleton. I am currently a member and volunteer for the Public Health Association New Zealand, and a member of the Infant Mental Health Association of New Zealand, presenting a paper at their conference in 2015. With a focus on attachment parenting, I am an Attachment Parenting Professional Associate of Attachment Parenting International (API), and wanting the best for our newborns and families led me to partner with UNICEF to present five postnatal health policies to the New Zealand Ministry of Health in 2018.My latest training

I often get asked about the story behind my logo, which I must say was an epiphany moment after doodling with my pen for quite a few hours. I knew I wanted something that was graceful. Something that represented the enveloped, exquisite miracle of human life.Story behind Logo
In 2014 I self-published the self-help parenting book ‘BabyCues - Nurture with Nature, Prevent and Remedy Colic, Reflux, Lactose and Dairy Overload.’ This is stocked in Paper Plus stores in New Zealand and sold worldwide, largely via eBook. The journey to getting this published was a road full of perfect timing and synchronicity. I have many to thank for getting it this far, high on the list are all the newborns that have taught me SO much. I will be forever grateful for them all and this is my repayment to them - spreading all that they have taught me.My BabyCues Book
